Stained Glass Repair
Baylus C. Brooks is a North Carolinian who once lived in Florida where he owned and operated B.C. Brooks Stained Glass of Live Oak. He is today a graduate maritime historian studying in East Carolina University’s Maritime Studies Program and a proud member of Phi Alpha Theta. Brooks studies maritime & colonial history, also archaeological and paper conservation, drawing upon a love of both science and history. His focus is North Carolina history and, of course, pirates! Brooks published a variety of books, including the historical novel, Heirloom: Fountain of Hope. His most recent publication can be found in the April 2014 issue of the North Carolina Historical Review, titled "John Lawson's Indian Town on Hatteras Island, North Carolina."
Baylus is a writer, primarily in historical subjects. He specializes in North Carolina colonial history. You can find his research and thoughts here.

[Baylus] has processed six small collections and is now finishing a very large collection. This collection will require ca. 40 archival boxes. He has prepared a collection level spreadsheet plus a folder level spreadsheet for each collection. Mr. Brooks has a professional demeanor. He has gone beyond the strict job description by identifying relationships with other archival and oral history collections. He has been a valuable consultant to my assistant who is evaluating a donated stamp collection, as neither of us knows much about stamps. He has been eager to help.
